Reaz Islam is a seasoned entrepreneur and financial services leader with over 35 years of experience, driving innovation in investment and algorithmic trading, risk management, FinTech, and technology industries through strategic investments and served as a senior advisor and board member for multiple companies. Reaz worked for Citigroup for almost two decades including over 10 years as Managing Director, CEO and chief investment officer within Citigroup Alternative Investments. Reaz has been an active contributor to Harlem academy, Cornell University as well as New York University. He also served as head of diversity counsel at Citigroup Alternative Investments, Chairperson of the Trustee Committee of the Vocational Training and Health Care Center for Vulnerable Youth. Committed to social impact, Reaz mentors underprivileged youth in financial literacy and supports non-profits focused on financial literacy and empowerment, education, and healthcare access.
