Distinguished Professor Ali Riaz has published a commentary on the debate about impeachment of Trump.

Since the press statement of Special Counsel Robert Muller on the report about Russian interference in 2016 U.S. presidential election and obstruction of justice by President Trump, call for starting the impeachment proceedings have grown louder.

Riaz, in the commentary titled ‘Impeaching Trump: To Be or not to be?’, writes, once considered a political taboo, impeachment is now a topic nobody can avoid. The central question now is, should the Democrats take the moral high road and fulfill their constitutional duty or focus on a winning strategy for the 2020 election and deal with these indiscretions later?
